QPR and Burnley, how many pts does BFS need?
I can't stand Allardyce but the football this year is better (which is not difficult to be honest) but we still only have 7pts from 6 games, that relates to 45pts at the end of the season if we carry on as we are now. Yes we have played Spurs Liverpool and Man Utd but none of them have set the world on fire this year so far. We also got knocked out the League Cup my Sheff Utd at home.

So my question is how many points does Allardyce need to take from the next 2 games at home to QPR and away to Burnley to stop the pressure mounting again?

i think 3 pts next week has to happen, QPR are maybe the worse team in the Division along with Burnley and if Bagpuss gets a 1pt or worse still 3 I for one will be amazingly pissed off.

Utter fucking nonesense

We will finish mid table having had various highs and lows - which is bang where our budget ought to drop us

This year will be enjoyable, some good football. some thrashings either way, above all it will not be dull - about as good as it will get for us

Cant believe that abject shite on here sometimes - three real good games on the spin and we are amortising fucking points ffs

Spots

Roll with it mate and expect the unexpected - the old West Ham way

And I for one am loving having that back

Fucker when you come unstuck against filth but fucking barmy when you get the win against all odds

Re: QPR and Burnley, how many pts does BFS need?
for me it was always a tricky start and seven points was about par. we do need to start winning home games regularly and the next ten games look good to get at least four wins (qpr/burnley/newcastle/west brom) and a couple of draws (villa/swansea)

i do feel different this year..im just scared to start expecting too much! i think they call it belief in ur team? fuck knows how long i have waited for that feeling again

every time I get optimistic and start adding up points we still haven't won we go on a massive fucking losing streak :.(

Re: QPR and Burnley, how many pts does BFS need?
Well I have seen us through thick and thin, mainly thin granted

But I cant recall a time where I feel so content with the squad and what it is delivering

We look the part, aside of what that cunt Van Gaal said about balls in the air, we ripped them a new one at times, on the fucking floor, with movement, pace and measured aggression - our defence was a defence, controlled

Against the most financially powerful side on the planet and against a stellar attack

Yeah we lost but did so battling - on another day we would have won, all without 2 of 3 MF players

The releif in that place was palpable - how many times in the last 40 years has that been the case then boys?

Nah worry not - good season awaits

6.

Both sides are really shit.

Win both and confirm we are a top half side.

I reckon we will lose one of them because BFS's butt boy nolan's feelings are more important than the good of West Ham.

Re: QPR and Burnley, how many pts does BFS need?
Our manager's continuing use of Nolan and in particular the absolutely useless Cole is evidence that it is going to be a long hard season and just like the past two seasons we'll probably survive by the skin of our teeth.

Baggins 8:57 Sun Sep 28
Re: QPR and Burnley, how many pts does BFS need?
Win one of them and it means our reasonable start continues. Of course we should be looking to win both but then this is the Hammers we're talking about.

I get the feeling that we are due to give someone a hiding. Would love it to be qpr.

We could do with 4 points to consolidate a very decent start
